Waste to Resource is a flagship project of RC Pasay Maharlika in partnership with an organization involve in social enterprise and environment protection called Green Antz Builders. For this Rotary Year, Champion President Michelle Khader chose AMG Skilled Hands Technological College (ASHTEC) located in San Ildefonso, Bulacan as beneficiary. For 25 years now, ASHTEC (www.ashtec.ph) provides transformative education and skills training to the youths of Bulacan and those coming from other provinces in the Philippines.
The Waste to Resource project educates students on proper waste segregation and environmental protection while at the same time, helping them implement notable school projects. RC Pasay Maharlika, empowers the student council officers of the school who serve as the lead group in the school to implement the project.
