Eyeglasses for reading and distance vision are not affordable for many Nicaraguans, meaning that they struggle to see and suffer from headaches and eye pain. Our Club worked with volunteers to carry out clinics in under served areas, checking blood pressure & visual acuity, handing out reading glasses free of charge and taking orders for finished distance glasses in modern frames patient picks at a cost to patient of just $7.
