Detailed description
As free divers we are privileged enough to be able to slip under the surface of our ocean. We have unparalleled access to the marine life non-divers only see in films and photos and because of that, we got a unique perspective on the health of our oceans as we can see changes that are not obvious from the surface.
We, at FREEDIVE TRIBE PH, not only teach our students to explore the depths but we also want them to value it. Without the corals and marine creatures living in it, we, and the future generation are left with nothing to appreciate, except plastics.
Nowadays, not only fish swim in the seas, but also trash. On November 16, 2019, we are lucky enough to be able to dive deep and remove plastics trapped in the corals and those floating at bay on our first “Linis Kalikasan ng Tribong Rotarian” Clean-up dive.
This may be the first clean-up dive that the tribe has started, but this is definitely not the last. Let us treat each dive as an opportunity to make the ocean a better place
