The Rotaract club of FUTO undertook a project on the importance of education prior to the believe on the pidgin slangs which says school na scam, we undertook this project at St Peters Nursery and Primary School Irete, Owerri west where we made it point plain that school isn't scam but the real deal. We lectured these kids on the need for education and how important basic education is. we asked them few questions and they gave us responses that helped us correct some notions. we shared books, pens and educational materials and the school, authorities thanked us afterwards.

There is this general notion in Nigeria that School is a scam and not a necessity, so the aim of this project is to correct that wrong notion that school is a basic necessity and not a scam, we left the students with the proper understanding.

Sustainability: How the benefits of the project will continue afterward

Students will forge ahead forever knowing that going through there basic education is proper and basic and shouldn't feel they are wasting there time.
