Detailed description

The Downtown Rotary Club of St. Louis, in collaboration with the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation, will recognize one outstanding male and female senior student with their annual Rotary Young Citizen’s Award from the following St. Louis Public Schools high schools: Carnahan, Central VPA, Cleveland NJROTC, Clyde C. Miller Career Academy, Gateway STEM, McKinley CLA, Metro, Northwest, Nottingham CAJT, Roosevelt, Soldan, Sumner, and Vashon. Criteria for the award are; good academics (minimum 2.5 G.P.A.), excellent attendance, good citizenship, and community involvement in their school or community. The students should be selected by principles or a staff designees. The selected seniors will be honored at Rotary Club 11’s luncheon on Thursday, October 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 pm at the Missouri Athletic Club located in downtown St. Louis at 405Washington Avenue. Lunch begins at 12:00.
