Detailed description

The Rotary Club of North Hobart has supported the AYUI Foundation in Northern Thailand for over 15 years. PRID John Thorne manages the project and gathers funds from individuals who have supported AYUI for some time. The AYUI Foundation runs a school in Chiang Rai and caters for youngsters mainly from the hill tribes allowing them to go to high school rather than prostitution in Bangkok. We encourage pride in themselves and their heritage. Two substantial donations have been made in this Rotary year.
