The Rotary Club of Portola, as part of their literacy and ethics program, presents to the entire C. Roy Carmichael School second grade class a copy of The Apple Dumpling Book. The Apple Dumpling Book uses a very clever story line that promotes literacy and ethics to our children. After Rotarians present the book to the class, Rotarians perform a play acting out the characters in the book. The book uses the “four way test” as the primary story line. Great fun was had by all!
