Detailed description

We successfully completed the Financial Literacy Training at Makerere Yellow Primary School. Over 400 residents of Bwayise and Kawempe were in attendance. The training was intended to provide clear and simple information that can prompt participants to take action. The information entailed specifically what someone needs to know to manage his/her personal finances effectively - without being too technical. Areas covered included among others; Personal Financial Management, Savings, Loans, Investments, Insurance, Planning for Old Age, Making Payments and Mention of some of the Financial Service Providers. Thanks to the Club and Community Intergreted Development Initiative (CIDI) for having mobilized the community, provided the resources and awarded Certificates of Participation to the trainees.
