Detailed description
We provided a reliable source of clean rainwater to the students at four schools and a medical dispensary. The large water tanks made water available to the wider community. At each location we provided new improved latrines and a hand wash station. This directly impacted over 1,500 students and hundreds of patients at the clinic. It also impacted the families of all the students. As soon as the tanks were in place, school attendance and enrollment increased, girls were not missing as much school and the students were spending more time in class. At the clinic they will have more water and they will install a shower for the birthing mothers.
