Community needs, project impact, and sustainability

Community assessment: How the project team learned about the community’s needs

we did a survey of the environment and agreed to use the maternity centre as trees will beautify the environment.

-

Project impact: How the project will help the community after the project ends

• Trees make life nicer. It has been shown that spending time among trees and green spaces reduces the amount of stress that we carry around with us in our daily lives. • Trees can complement the architecture or design of buildings or entire neighbourhoods. • Trees improve our air quality by filtering harmful dust and pollutants such as ozone, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide from the air we breathe.

-

Sustainability: How the benefits of the project will continue afterward

trees planted will be monitored by the manage ment of the clinic.
