*Rotary club of Mumbai Lakers in association of Roshni Foundation organised the first Inter School Sports competition on 8th Dec, 2019 for all the tribal schools of Zilla Parishad at Dahanu Taluka.*
The First Inter school Sports competition for all the tribal schools of Zilla parishad at Dahanu Taluka was held on Sunday, 8th Dec 2019.
This day highlighted the need for sports and development of children in aspects beyond the classroom. There were sporting events like Kabbadi, Kho- Kho, 100mtrs Running, Cross country Running etc. which all the students participated with lot of vigour and enthusiasm. Students and Umpires were excited to wear Sport caps, hats and tshirts sponsored by the club. Bananas, biscuits, juices, glucose powder and lunch was served to all followed with Prize Distribution ceremony wherein Chief Guest Incoming president Vikram Swaroop awarded trophies and medals to the winners of the various sport-events.
