Empowering Girls

Rotary is prioritizing projects that focus on improving the health, education, well-being, and economic security of girls across the globe.

The safety and well-being of young people and youth program participants are Rotary's highest priority. Rotary provides comprehensive resources for clubs and districts that participate in youth programs so they can confidently implement our youth protection policies and act to prevent abuse and harassment.

Ending polio forever

Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for over 30 years, and our goal of ridding the earth of this disease is in sight. We started in 1979 with vaccinations for 6 million children in the Philippines. Today, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Pakistan are the only countries where polio remains endemic
