Detailed description

From July 16 to 20, 2012, PE Dr Bong and RC Holy Spirit D3780 played hosts to a team of 11 visiting Korean college students from the Apgujeong Church Youth Community in Seoul, Korea. With the theme “Embrace the World,” the students began their educational/cultural visit by joining a medical mission of PE Dr Bong in Payatas on July 16 and 17. The students immersed themselves in selected urban poor families, interacting and breaking bread with them. On July 18, the team assisted in the pharmacy of the Oriental Medical and Dental Mission at Holy Spirit. On July 19, the team visited Dona Juana Elementary School and Holy Spirit National High School, where they donated T-shirts and various school supplies. They spent some time with the SPED pupils of Dona Juana, playing games and painting the pupils’ faces (and teachers’, too!). In the evening of July 19, RCHS feted dinner and fellowship for the visitors who had fun with Rotaractors.
