On Friday 11th March,2016, rota Calabar South CB carried out a project to touch maternal and child care in the community, at Primary Health Center, Obufa Esuk, Calabar South L. G. A. The club in partnership with the Rotaract club of Canaan city CB, Calabar took time to admonish mother to modalities that can help combat infant morality, child abuse and the general health of both mother and child during and after birth.
The club presented various up keep materials to help the nursing mothers and the babies.
Some of the items include diapers, detergents, toilet papers, dettol, baby soaps. We had 9 Rotaractors in attendance.
The head of the unit Mr. Effiong thanked the club in appreciation and Commended the action of Rotaract clubs the world over
