The 21st Century is witnessing an ever changing growth in almost every sector, yet leaving behind the most essential and purest concept of all, that is, ‘Periods’. Even today, there lies a sort of hesitation to bring up this term in our daily conversations. This is where our PROJECT RUDHIR: WELCOMING WOMANHOOD comes into action. It is a flagship project dedicated towards making women aware about menstrual hygiene, right from the scratch and for the same, the members visit various slum areas and teach them about maintaining proper menstrual hygiene and its related essential aspects. Not only this, various pad donation drives are also conducted; and currently Project Rudhir has successfully distributed more than 6850+ pads to 680 beneficiaries. All of this is done with the aim to normalize this highly stigmatized yet a very important concept of Menstruation.
