Donations at Ho Prisons

Detailed description

Food items such as bags of rice, maize, gari, cooking oil and some toiletries were donated to the prisoners during the ride. About 150 people (Rotaractors, Rotarians and Guests) participated in this project. About 550 inmates (both male and female) benefited directly and indirectly from the donations and bicycle riding projects respectively. Some participants were permitted to enter the prisons yard to share fellowship with the inmates whereby they encouraged the prisoners to know they are loved. Some took time to give encouraging advice and shared personal experiences with the inmates.
