The Rotary Club of Accra-Airport City on Monday the 18th of March went to commission their Wash site at the Kraboa Coaltar Methodist Primary School located in the Anyesoano District of the Eastern Region. The delegation of nine Rotarian’s and a guest was led by the club president, Rotarian Chi-Chi and supported by the President Elect, the President Nominee and the project committee.The project is a partnership between Rotary Global Grant and USAID mission in Ghana which involves 35 Rotary clubs. The work consists of construction of 6 institutional KVIP latrines with Handwashing facilities in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region namely Kraboa Methodist primary, Coaltar R/C Primary & JHS and Mfranor Presby Primary. The facility constructed is a two unit building with separate segment for both female and male pupils of the school. The female unit has a changing room for teenage girls and the male unit has a urinal.
