Rotaract Club of Amman West has kicked off the "Green Rooftops" project, at the Capital City of Amman.The project reinforces the importance that trees and plants have on the preservation of our countries' ecology and environmental aesthetics. The project mainly relies on today's youth to develop the countries' ecology.
The commencement of the project was carried forward by Rotaract Amman West's volunteers in downtown Amman on the 7th of November 2015. The purpose of the project is to transform the roof's of Amman to Green roofs that are environmentally friendly, giving as a result a visually pleasing site as opposed to neglected location. The project moreover beneficially impacts the residents of the buildings, since it allows them to utilize the green space to plant yearly essential vegetables.
