Sudharta... meaning "Improvement", is flagship project of Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town. It denotes "Improvement in quality of life" for the beneficiary. Patients inflicted with Polio continue to live with deformed limbs & affect routine activities which affect their quality of life. To overcome this misfortune, RC Panaji Mid Town supports surgeries which correct Physical Disability of Polio afflicted persons.In alignment with RI's work on Polio eradication, Project Sudharta carries the community service to next level. Scope of project now enhanced to include children with Cerebral Palsy, congenital conditions like Club Foot,etc. Process is streamlined to attract beneficiaries from distant districts & states of India where Polio was rampant.
Project is structured to meet all demands of the needy patients. This has resulted in Zero dropout by patients. This is a 100% cost free benefit to patient .
