On Saturday 17th October, 2015, the Rotaract Club of Tortola joined with our Rotary family (Rotary Club of Tortola – our Sponsoring Club and Rotary Club Sunrise of Road Town) to remove the build-up of seaweed on our shorelines. This was in support of a call from the Government of the Virgin Islands for persons within the community to assist with the removal of built-up seaweed along shorelines across the Virgin Islands. The joint project yielded 230 bags of seaweed.
