Description détaillée
The month April is designated as Maternal and Child Health care. The same was observed by us at Central Nursing Home by a befitting speech by Dr. Saswati Chatterjee to the expectant mothers and the mothers and by distribution of nutritious food to them. At least 7 million children under the age of five die each year due to malnutrition, poor health care, and inadequate sanitation. If clubs start a sustainable project by empowering the local community to take ownership of health care training program, it will go a long way in helping the community. The project can provide all or any of the activities such as immunizations and antibiotics to babies, improve access to essential medical services, and support trained health care providers for mothers and their children.
