The members of Rotary Club of Calcutta, have spent the festival of Diwali in a different way this time. It was a philanthropic endeavor from us. Apart from the celebration with the club members, we had decided to distribute new clothing to the deprived children and the ladies of a slum area to light up their Diwali. For this our chosen location was No. 3, South Cabin, Khalbari, Kidderpore, Near FCI Godown. We distributed garments, sweets and candles among 400 people which included 150 boys, 150 girls and 100 ladies. It is very much welcomed by the dwellers of that locality and we are overflowing with contentment for putting smile on their face. The project was attended by Rtn. Sajjan Shroff, Rtn. Dharmendra Jain, Rtn. Mukesh Harbhajanka, Rtn. Anup Fatehpuria, Rtn. Manoj Mohnot and Miss Devyanshi Shroff.
