Completed

Learn more about Rotary's areas of focus

Detailed description

Kariton Pangkabuhay is the flagship project of Rotary Club of Imus East. As a sustaining effort for this livelihood project, a recipient was provided with recyclable materials such as carton boxes, newspapers, bottles, tin cans, and scrap metals which he can sell to junk shops for income. This is just one of the many possible income-generating opportunities a beneficiary can do with a kariton/push cart. Others have used the carts for selling produce (fruits & vegetables), collecting, and delivery, among others.
