Detailed description

Rotary Plants Hope is a club’s initiative on environment protection which include a classification talk by its charter member PP Pelagio Battung, Jr. who is a scientist and Doctor of Environment. Dr. Battung authors a book on Urban Tree Planting providing helpful tips on which types of trees are appropriate to be planted in an urban setting. The chosen beneficiary of the project is Mon-El Village, an ecological village located in the metropolis. Through the years, this village remains vigilant in promoting a balanced lifestyle of green living in the middle of a fast growing urban community. The project was also participated in by the local village officials, Senior Citizens group and youth in the community.
