Gulong Tulong sa Pagsulong is a special project for the community wherein we sought the help of the foundation Go Foundation Binan. Prior to the wheelchair donation, we visited the community to select a group of disabled children in the Pasay area. Two wheelchairs for children with cerebral palsy and spinal dysraphism, and two for the School for the Deaf, Pasay City to be used by disabled students, were donated to help them with their inability to walk. It is saddening to see the physical state of these children, coupled with financial needs of their parents who come from the marginalized income bracket. We can see the happiness in their faces as mothers and children took their pictures. Along with this, a Personality Development was conducted by Ms. Rochy Aguanta from Avon. There 50 participants who got 1 free lipstick each as a token, and 25 ladies signed-in as future entrepreneurs that will help them in their everyday expenses.
