Days after the Taal Volcano erupted, Rotary Club of Padre Burgos mobilized a relief operation to provide emergency needs like water, food and made a quick assessment of 2 of the evacuation centers least visited. In less than a week, Rotary Club of Padre Burgos decided to come back and coordinated with District 3810 Best Class Presidents of RY 2014-2015, Upskills Foundation Inc ,The Fraternal Order of Eagles Manila Centarl 147 Eagles club and AY Foundation. A collaboration of 4 organizations to provide Medical Mission, Psychosocial Activity for Displaced Children, Free Haircut, Distribution of relief goods consisting of rice, canned goods, hygiene kits and nutritious ready to eat meal packs and truckloads of 4Liter water bottle. A total of 200 families and 700 individuals were served. Tired and exhausted yes, but joyful and contented as once again, Rotary Connects to take action and do more Service above self.
