ORAL HYGIENE PROJECT

It was a joint project on dental screening and oral health to mark the World Oral Health Day.

The project was on Dental Screening and Oral Health Education for the pupils of Kawu D.A. Primary School in Sefwi Akpafu in Akontombra District in the Western North Region of Ghana. As part of the project, the Rotaract Clubs Accra-Labone and Accra-East distributed toothbrush and toothpaste to over 100 pupils. The pupils were encouraged to make sure they brush their teeth twice a day and also encourage the teachers to take oral health education serious as we marked World Oral Health Day. They were also taught how to brush their teeths well.
