Completed

Detailed description

Members of the Rotary Club of Washington Forge joined the Washington Clean and Green Team to carry out a litter pick and hedge trimming in Albany Park and along the surrounding roads and verges. This was in preparation for the annual Washington carnival being held on the 16th September 2017. 45 bags of rubbish were collected and fantastic commitment and community spirit was shown by all of the volunteers. Details and photograph will appear in the Sunderland Echo newspaper.
