Detailed description

Rotary Club Zamboanga City Central of Zone 10, D3850 provided basic education and literacy program to a pre-school center in the adopted community. The members also gave skills training to the parents of the small children to occupy their time while their children were in the classrooms. The President of the Rotary Club Zamboanga City Central volunteers to teach the basic reading and writing abilities to the pre-school children. As the school year is about to end the Clubs commitment to the community demonstrates it's willingness to promote peace in this cross- cultured people living in the vicinity. It generates cooperation and camaraderie among the parents, the school staff and the Rotary members. This project was very laudable activity of the Club while providing skills training and mentoring to small children.
