To recognise people in the local community who go the extra mile and do so without much recognition.
On 15 April 2014 the Rotary Club of Macquarie Park held its annual Pride of Workmanship Awards. We were privileged to have 7 members of our community nominated by their Employers. They included:
a dedicated youth worker from Ryde Secondary College
an outstanding police officer from the Ryde Local Area
a very service orientated staff member from Ryde Council
a staff member from McGraths that succeeds above and beyond her role
employees whose excellence and value is noted by their longevity in their role
a staff member who dedication and sincerity make her a standout in her company
The morning was very successful - the Hon. Victor Dominello MP whose roles include Minister for Volunteering was our guest speaker and presented our nominees with their awards.
