Interactors from Rotary club of Mumbai Lakers showed orphans that they really do have a family!
They organised Diwali party on the 12th Oct for "Vatsala Trust orphanage ", which was intended to restore smiles on the faces of 25 toddlers, 10 kids and 25 young girls who been sheltered there. They had organised activities such as magic show, music,dancing, distributes food packets and the presented Diwali gifts of note books and colours to these children.
“The joy of giving does not only concern with giving things but the most satisfying joy of giving is giving your personal time, spending it with people who need your affection and attention the most,” says President Ahana Thapar. They got a first hand experience at the Vatsalya Trust Orphanage. and would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated for the same.
