Education and donation of sanitary pads to adolescent girls in the rural areas. Salem Presby School in the Akropong Akuapem North District is the first destination for the Feminine Hygiene project. Based on research from WASH Poverty Diagnostics, girls in the rural areas lacked proper menstrual hygiene management. The Rotary Club of Accra Airport City, took advantage of this research findings to educate girls in the rural areas and donate sanitary pads. The Club also organized a presentation on Feminine Hygiene Management in partnership with Fay International, producers of Faytex Sanitary pads to educate club members, Rotarians and the general public.
