For 8 weeks, 8 indigent pupils were sponsored through computer knowledge program with great results
Bridging the digital divide between rich and poor kids was at the heart of our club's annual Computer Literacy Projects. This year, our club Partnered with Hope of the Future foundation to deliver Free Computer Literacy Training programs to eight indigent children. We target pupils between the ages of 6 -10 years who has no access to computer literacy. This phase of the program lasted for 8 weeks and during which the children were able to learn computer appreciation and Desktop publishing (Microsoft office & Corel Draw). The The program has been designated an annual program by the club and future editions we will target up to 20 children and will plan to donate computers to them at graduation.
