ROLL BACK MALARIA AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AND DISTRIBUTION OF TREATED MOSQUITO NETS TO THE AMASSOMA COMMUNITY. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT IS TO TEACH THE PEOPLE OF AMASSOMA COMMUNITY ABOUT THE DANGER OF MALARIA WHICH IS CAUSED BY MOSQUITOES AND ALSO ON WAYS TO PREVENT GETTING MALARIA AND ALSO WAYS TO KEEP THEIR ENVIRONMENT FREE FROM MOSQUITOES. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
THE PROJECT IS STATED BY ABOUT 11:22AM, WHERE ROTARACTORS GATHERED FOR ONWARD MOVEMENT INTO THE COMMUNITY.
IT WAS INDEED THE AWARENESS WAS A WELCOMED DEVELOPMENT BECAUSE OF THE RAINS THAT WERE BEGINNING TO FALL AND THE NEED TO STAY IN A MOSQUITO FREE ENVIRONMENT TO AVOID MALARIA.
TREATED NETS WERE ALSO DISTRIBUTED TO BREAST FEEDING MOTHERS AND PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEY WERE ALSO TAUGHT DIFFERENT WAYS TO COMBAT MALARIA AND ALSO TO KEEP THEIR ENVIRONMENT FREE AND SAFE FROM MOSQUITOES.
