A fantastic Vocational Service Project to assist struggling adults to obtain gainful employment.
For the past decade the Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary Club has supported Working Wardrobes to transform lives with this deeply meaningful vocational service project. Rotarians Patricia Bintliff and Will Crist have been trained by working Wardrobes to facilitate a series of workshops designed to assist adults to re-enter into the workforce after experiencing traumas and tragedies in their personal and professional lives. Ms Bintliff and Will Crist then lead other NBS Rotarians in a collaborative effort to coach the struggling beneficiaries on such matters as preparing a master job application, interview skills, business culture and etiquette, body language in the business environment, SMART goal setting and how to dress for success. The final event of the CAREER SUCCESS series is a fun filled day of self esteem building which includes a colorful graduation, new business attire, haircuts, manicures and massages for the beneficiaries. This project has been one of our most popular ever !
