MOTHER AND CHILD CARE IN SITIO PANLABAYAN

MEDICAL MISSION, DISTRIBUTION OF VITAMINS, MEDICINES, WATER AND FOOD TO INDIGENT FAMILIES

Completed

Detailed description

Due to the remoteness of their village in Sitio Panlabayan, Manoot, Rizal, the Mangyans, the original inhabitant of Mindoro island, do not often receive medical attention. In some cases, their children simply die from undiagnosed dengue and gastric illness due to lack of clean water. The Rotary Club of San Jose , With the help of Governor Gadian, hosted a medical mission to the area and sponsored the distribution of mosquito nets, clean waterfood and medicines for the Mangyans.
