Rotary Club of Metro Escolta took the cudgels to fight against the alarming COVID 19 disease by helping health workers and front liners. These are in the form of providing meals and needed PPE (surgical masks) at selected hospitals such as East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City and Manila Doctors Hospital in Manila City during enhanced community quarantine. Also, the club were able to raise fund and donated to Office of the Vice President (OVP) for the purchase of 26 PPEs and to RITM through DIstrict 3810. In addition, some club members donated financial assitance thru Globe Reward Points for PPE of selected hospital. Lastly, 2 club members (spouses JP and Juliene delas Nieves) were able to volunteer as conductors in the free shuttle service for health workers as organized by the Office of the Vice President (OVP)
