Detailed description
Our Club was looking for a school centrally located to Roxas City, Philippines that were in a dire need for help to feed their children.Marcos Fuentes Integrated School was situated in an area of Roxas City where many poverty stricken children lived. So it was decided to undertake this project on a budget of P30-40,000 this would allow for P2,500 a week. The school chose 180 of their most malnutrition ed children to be a part of this project. The children were weighed and recorded before the first feeding. The project has been ongoing now for 2 weeks and the teachers are saying that there already is a noticeable difference in the children's study attitude and they are much happier and attentive now. What is unique about this project is that the school has their own garden and they are able to supplement the feeding with vegetables that they have home grown. We are always looking for International Partners and Sister Clubs if interested please contact me at rolltide.jerry@gmail.com thanks!
