This project will install 200 new hand water pumps across the Provence of Capiz,Panay , Philippines.Many of the residents have to carry all their water and in some places up to 1 km..In some areas the only water source is rain water and there are times that it doesn't rain for up to two months during dry season. The Rotary Club of Metro Roxas will identify the most needy areas for installation of these pumps .Upon completion each Brgy will oversee the maintenance and up keep of these pumps insuring that they will be in working order as the years go by.By placing these pumps in the most needy areas we will be insuring that the residents will have a clean source of water for their daily needs for many years to come.When fully financed this project will be completed in 2 months time so we are hoping for International Partners We Need Int'l Club donation of $9,800, Int'l District 9,000 PLEASE HELP!! Dry season starts in March so we would like to have this project completed by Feb 2014
