Detailed description

Part-time exchange program between Turkey and Belgium. The aim of the project is to give young people up to the age of 20 the opportunity to develop their professional skills in the tourism industry in both countries. The first Group from Belgium will start in June 2023 and the students are placed in the Rotarian family. This gives the Students an insight into the culture of the host and the country.

Community assessment: How the project team learned about the community’s needs

After covid-19, the Touristic Brance is severely affected by staff shortages. We conducted a survey among the hotels in Kusadası to find out how big the staff shortage is and how badly the hotels are affected.

Project impact: How the project will help the community after the project ends

after completion we will reach more people in both countries to create mutual understanding and better togetherness.

Sustainability: How the benefits of the project will continue afterward

This program is a long-term planned program. Every year this program is repeated and project partners have committed themselves to continue this program. It will be a win-win situation for both Students and Hotel Companies.
