Detailed description
The school is located about 30 kms from Pune in Andgaon village. majority of the students come from poor family who cannot afford books and uniforms. the school charges only about 1 USd per annum as token fees. Since 1991 due to the dedicated teachers the school is getting 100 percent results in 10th std board exams. The building is run down, roof leaking, no proper toilets for girls, due to which girls drop out on attaining puberty. Equal no. of girls and boys in school. We intend to provide good toilet block, separate for girls and boys. Pure water for drinking, fixing the roof and the building, providing library, science and computer labs, sports equipment and staff room. Bring the girls back to school. provide uniforms, books, shoes, raincoats etc. and ensure sustainability.
