Revegetation for koala and other wildlife

planting 100 eucalyptus and other trees for wildlife habitat in a critical wildlife corridor

Completed

Detailed description

More than 20 people comprised of members of the Rotary Cub of Beaudesert, our youth exchange student and friends of Rotary planted in excess of 100 trees in a wildlife corridor critical for the survival of native animals and birds and in particular - koalas. Working in conjunction with the Scenic Rim Regional Council we have endeavoured to provide species specific vegetation that will give natural habitat for the animals well into the future. We had so much fun planting too.
