Capacity building for the teachers, facilitators and students on environmental and climate change.
The global warming and climate change is a major challenge we now encounter in the world caused by human activities. The impact of climate change is so alarming and its effect is very dangerous, affecting our economy, health and all other aspects of our lives. The most vulnerable affected by the climate change are the less privilege people, PWD, Senior Citizens and our future generations, our children. It threatens our ecosystem and our own health and causes flood in our coast. The RC Dewey Pasay has initiated to give importance for this project using our District grant for we feel this advocacy will save lives and our environment, and hope that this workshop for selected teachers in two schools will be cascaded down to the students using a simple comic book "Earthan". "It calls everyone to take action". The Climate Reality Project presenter, mentor and expert Arnel Caranto, conducted the seminar.
