The Rotary Club (RC) of Manila South is set to donate 2-way radios to select barangays in the 5th District of the City of Manila, as part of its extensive efforts to give aid to the community it serves during the quarantine. RC Manila South President James Jimenez, on March 30, 2020, will lead the distribution of the 2-way radios to the barangay officials. “It is our fervent hope that the handheld radios will enhance the capabilities of our public servants in enforcing the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in their respective jurisdictions,” Champion President Jimenez said. "We are all doing our part in flattening the curve, and RC Manila South is here to give that collective effort a much-needed boost,” he added. The distribution will benefit from the kind assistance extended by Hon. Cristal Bagatsing, Representative of 5th District Manila.
