RCMFS in cooperation with the Medical Unit of TCU, the Office of Student Affairs (OSAS), and the CBRNE Unit of the PNP headed by P/Lt. Col. Johnny Capalos conducted an awareness and prevention seminar in fighting COVID 19 last February 19, 2020 for two sessions at the TCU Main Auditorium. CBRNE Unit is composed of PNP enlisted personnel who are Medical Doctors, Nurses, Medical Technologists, Biologists, Criminologists and allied health sciences officers who were trained locally and internationally. Attendees of the 1st session (9am-12noon) were 1,200 students and academic personnel of TCU; and attendees of the 2nd session (2-5pm) were another 1,200 students across disciplines and non-academic personnel. Personal hygiene, washing of hands, wearing of masks, social distancing, and eating nutritious food were given as advise by the experts to be away from being inflicted by COVID 19.
