Detailed description
The aim of this project is education about rain water harvesting using agroforestry with permaculture and Terra preta to reverse erosion and raise the level of the ground water. People in the project region see the need of improvement of their soil management and ask for education and a space for exchanging experiences with others and getting good advice from experts. Therefore, the project has 2 vocational training parts that will improve the project area while delivering information and experience at the same time to 2 times 20 trainees for teaching others. The central education about rain water harvesting is preceded by an education about building 2 houses from natural local material with drinking water and good sanitation: the educational building and a house for the guardian. A solar power plant will be set on the roof of the educational building and educative posters will be exhibited inside. Women shall be preferred and establishing a cooperative is planned for sustainability.
