Detailed description

Elementary and Secondary schools are invited each fall to list the programs and projects that promote peace and conflict resolution in their school. The Club designates these schools as Peace Schools. An Elementary Peace School gets a Peace Pole with 4 language plates (English, French and 2 languages of their choice) installed on their school property. They receive a plaque to hang on their wall of honor and a $300 donation to their school to put towards a Buddy Bench or other item to promote peace. A Secondary Peace School receives a plaque and a pull up banner for display in their school. Each year Peace Schools are invited to renew their Peace status and they receive a year plate for plaque.
