Detailed description
The club put together an envelope filled wih educational materials such as pencil, pen, paper, notebook, eraser and many others. This program by the DepEd was organized so Muslim children may still be taught the Arabic Language which is the only way to understand their bible (qur'an). The Muslim community here in Calapan City (in Oriental Mindoro) feels like an outcast due to their religion. During our meeting with them, they elaborated stories on which they were called a “thief” or be known as persons with bad attitude. They were very thankful that we oversaw what others think of them and support their culture. Only a few can understand the Arabic Language and their culture that elders cannot teach their own children about it.
