Train and Help Babies Walkathon

Dedicated to decreasing infant mortality in several areas of India

In Progress

Detailed description

Over 300 people gathered at Andy Brown Park East on Saturday to walk and talk about lowering infant mortality and the impact it has on communities worldwide. The Coppell Rotary Club joined with Train and Help Babies, a local organization dedicated to bringing lifesaving equipment and advanced medical training to hospitals in high infant mortality areas to improve maternal health and infant survivability, as the major sponsor in sending a team of neonatologists and pediatricians to several locations in Karnataka, India to teach local doctors and nurses techniques to reduce infant deaths in one of the highest areas in the world for infant mortality.
