Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers organised a Cancer Screening camp for 100 women in Mazagon along with CPAA & Giant Group of Mazagaon led by Farida Barwaaniwala ( local group ). It was an event organized by women for the benefit of women and the participation was very high . Cancer specialist Dr Joshi of RC Queens city is on board with his team of doctors

Project impact: How the project will help the community after the project ends

In India, women are one of the most vulnerable groups, esp. when it comes to diseases like cancer. in many cases the disease goes undetected unless it is too late. This kind of women only camp helps women to come forward and get tests done. This eventually helps in early detection and intervention is cases where it is needed.
